Today we had a GREAT day serving our Lord!! I just can't tell you how excited I am and how I see things going for us... we are going on a mission trip in January to Kenya, Africa!!! I am overwhelmed with joy in knowing that I will be helping serve a missionary in another country!! Sometimes things seem so important here in my little town with my little life and until something like this happens its like the sky opens up and you can see that my little life and my little problems are nothing compared to my GREAT GOD!! So to you who read this I am just asking that you pray for us as we have started this amazing journey, because we already feel the attacks of Satan and I know that it will just get worse, which in a weird way makes me happy cause I know we are doing something right! Today as I'm sitting at work my little student looks at me with a HUGE smile and says "25" "25" and I kept thinking what is 25 and then boom it dawned on me there are only 25 more days of school left :) I am so excited! Very ready for summer break... there are some fun things ahead... like a baseball game in may, the coast in june, invasion & silver lake in july... really can't wait to just relax and not think about work for a while :)
  

easter

Easter was a little different this year as it has been for about the last three years... we had a fantastic time with our friends/family away from family. Got to spend some time with dad and mom before hand, but this year especially I felt an overwhelming amount of disappointments... from family that is. Easter I know is not about the family, food, festivities.... its about the ONE who came and rose again! But sometimes I can't help wondering and thinking about why people behave the way they do... it's very disheartening at times. Hope everyone had a great day and this week my goal is to look on the positive side of things :)
